Variety reported Thursday that Tom Hardy<\/strong> “was not fired’ from the show\u00a0‘Mobland,<\/strong>‘ which also stars Hellen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. And while\u00a0rumours of tension due to\u00a0Hardy’s alleged tardiness\u00a0may be true, there is no\u00a0real animosity between the\u00a0actors. Any issues are with the creative team, and\u00a0the report said\u00a0“the door is not closed for season 3.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the big screen this weekend, RuPaul, Mat Rogers and a ton of drag queens star in “Stop! That! Train!”<\/strong> Also in theatres, “Pressure”<\/strong> is a deeply emotional film about one of the most critical decisions made during World War II. Brendan Fraser<\/strong> stars as General Dwight D. Eisenhower<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Apple TV today, “Propeller One-Way Night Coach”<\/strong> is a family adventure film written, co-produced, and directed by John Travolta<\/strong> in his directorial debut, and based on his 1997 children’s novel of the same name.\u00a0He stars along with\u00a0his daughter\u00a0Ella Bleu Travolta and\u00a0others. The film had its world premiere at Cannes this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICYMI: At CinemaCon<\/strong> in Las Vegas, Disney unveiled the first full-length trailer for \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d. All the heroes (and several former villains) must put aside their differences and join forces to take down Doctor Doom. And Paramount Pictures announced Tom Cruise is returning for \u201cTop Gun 3,\u201d as is producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
