She was 80.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parton died peacefully in Nashville, a rep announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She announced in September that she was postponing a set of Las Vegas concerts to deal with \u201csome health challenges.\u201d THR reported days later that she would miss the Governors Awards, where she was to receive the prestigious Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, in November, and she canceled scheduled Las Vegas residency dates for September in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her husband of nearly 58 years, businessman Carl Dean, died at age 82 on March 3, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/dolly-parton\/\">Dolly Parton<\/a>\u2018s reps have revealed her cause of death. The iconic singer died after a \u201cbrief battle\u201d with cancer at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, her reps said Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity into everything she touched.
