A Dutch astronaut shared a story over the weekend about accidentally calling 911 from the Space Station.

André Kuipers missed a number when making a call through headquarters back on Earth — and ended up connecting to emergency services.

Kuipers says that the two-step process for making a call to his homeland let to the mishap. In order to get an external line the caller first has to dial 9. Then, to place an international call, the caller has to hit 011, followed by the actual phone number of the person they are trying to contact. In this case, Kuipers totally missed the “0” and ended up dialing 911 straight away.

He said he only realized his error when he received an email the following day.

Kuipers joked: “I was a little disappointed that they had not come up.”

We don’t know specifically when they’re going to debut in February, but we do know they’re only going to be available for a limited time.
