Nike‘s self-lacing shoes are here, and they’re going to debut at the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday and hit store shelves the same day.
The Back to the Future-like sneakers were tested by being soaked in water overnight, sprayed with water cannons, hammered and placed in extreme weather conditions. They still self-laced after the abuse.
The $350 shoes are expected to sell out within days. People have begun camping out for the shoes.
Loblaws announced yesterday that it will be making an Ontario-brewed lager, packaged in the traditional bright yellow and black No Name packaging.
A six-pack of the beer will sell for $10.45 at select LCBO stores and lcbo.com starting this month.
As part of the launch, every No Name six-pack will be part of Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s “buck-a-beer” program, and will be selling for $6.60 including a deposit during the Family Day long weekend.
The promotion will also be run throughout select weekends during 2019.
