Meghan Markle gave birth yesterday.

Prince Harry made the announcement, saying, “Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined . . .

They haven’t released a name yet, but they did reveal he’s 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Harry says they will appear in public in two days to show off their baby.

The baby may never ascend to the throne because of the Royal succession, he’s 7th in line. Prince Charles is first in line for the throne followed by Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and then Prince Harry.

This is Queen Elizabeth II’s eighth great-grandchild.

Sharks that are 30-feet-long have been spotted off the coast of California for the first time in decades.

They’re called Basking Sharks and are often referred to as gentle giants, as they aren’t aggressive and don’t bite. Swimming with their mouths wide open and often near the surface, they are filter feeders, consuming tiny food such as plankton.

Basking Sharks are the second-largest known shark species, growing to be 30 feet long, whale sharks are the largest known shark species and can reach 60 feet long.

The Toronto Marathon was Sunday and runners are questioning the race length.

Some runners believe they ran further than 42.2 km after their GPS watches recorded longer distances, but one professor says it’s more likely that the GPS readings were inaccurate due to interference from highrise buildings.

Race organizers haven’t responded about the actual length yet, but runners are saying that the extended length will effect qualifying times for future marathons.
