The Wallaceburg Lakers are hosting a town meeting tonight at 7, upstairs in the Wallaceburg Legion.

The Lakers “will be making a few announcements at this time and be having an open discussion.”

All residents of Wallaceburg are invited.

There’s been some turmoil this offseason when the Lakers made a failed bid to move to Tilbury.


Tomorrow is a PA Day.

The Raptors beat the Warriors in Game 3, 123-109. They now have a two-games-to-one lead in the NBA Finals.

Game 4 is Friday night from Golden State, tip off at 9pm on TSN.


2019 AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show continues today at the John D. Bradley Centre.

It is the largest of its kind in Ontario with over 200 and 300 exhibitors of public works products and services.

It’s a Trade Show for public and private sector public works employees – but it is open to the public. Open 8-3, no admission fee.


The game Tetris turns 35 today.

It’s been on more gaming platforms than any other game in history. The theme is a Russian folk tune from the 1800s and the lyrics are about a peddler who seduces a young peasant girl.
