3 Rivers Roll is back in Wallaceburg tonight!

3 Rivers Roll is an hour long (13 km) bicycle route through Wallaceburg with a slow, relaxed pace. It’s not a race, it’s a slow roll through various neighbourhoods of the ‘burg. All bicycles, all ages, all abilities are welcome – bring your own music, decorate your bike and join in the fun! This year, each roll will have a theme.

Come to the Oaks Retirement Village at 5:30 pm for a BBQ by donation, and stick around for some carnival themed food and games before the bike.

The next 3 Rivers Roll ride is August 15th.

There is no fee to attend, but donations are being accepted for Community Living Wallaceburg.


The Chatham Concert Band is back in Tecumseh Park tonight!

Every Wednesday at 7:30 during the Summer bring your lawn chair and relax in the park with the Concert Band for a free show.

The theme tonight is Great Groups of Pop and Rock.


Friday is Free Healthy Parks, Healthy People Day.

Everyone is invited to enjoy free day-use at all Ontario Provincial Parks on Friday.

Healthy Parks, Healthy People Day is an annual celebration of the benefits of time spent outdoors. Spending time in nature is good for our physical and mental health.

Ikea is shutting down its only furniture factory in the United States.

The Swedish company will end production this December at its plant in Virginia. Operations will move to Europe, where the company says it can cut costs. The U.S. plant had only been open for 11 years.

They’re in the process of finding the right-sized Allen wrench to take the building apart.
