For years, athletes from Ohio State University have proudly announced that they’re from ‘THE Ohio State’ or ‘THE Ohio State University,’ with an emphasis on the ‘THE’ and pronounced THEE not THUH.

Ohio State is now attempting to trademark the word ‘The’ so that they can make that their thing.

A spokesman for Ohio State said, “Like other institutions, Ohio State works to vigorously protect the university’s brand and trademarks. These assets hold significant value, which benefits our students and faculty and the broader community by supporting our core academic mission of teaching and research.”

Weight Watchers has launched a controversial weight loss app aimed at children and teens between the ages of 8 and 17.

The Kurbo app is available for free for Android users and allows them to track what they eat in a day.

Foods are ranked as green, yellow and red. Green foods are ‘go foods’ while yellow foods are ones that should be eaten moderately. Red-labeled foods are ones that people should stop and think about eating.

Weight Watchers says the app supports healthy eating.
