The Flood Warning and Local State of Emergency remains in place for Erie Shore Drive. The wind wasn’t as bad yesterday so work and cleanup was underway. Hydro One has issued some safety tips for people in that area, which are here.

The Labour Day long weekend is almost here, and gasbuddy.com is predicting a jump in the price of gas.

On average, gas prices have been down around 12 cents a litre this summer compared to last, and Southwestern Ontario often enjoys prices a little below the national average.

As of Thursday morning, gas prices in Chatham Kent range from 112.6 cents to 115.9 cents a litre. In Windsor-Essex they range from 109.6 cents to 139.9 cents a litre, and in London, it is from 110.9 cents to 118.9 cents a litre.

 


If you end up running out of beer on Sunday, not to worry. This Labour Day, 64 Beer Store locations will be open from 11am-5pm, including the Richmond Street location in Chatham.
