Due to the Civic Holiday garbage and recycling pick up has been pushed back one day this week.
Expect some minor delays today and tomorrow around bridges in Chatham.
Bridge washing is taking place today, tomorrow and Thursday, scheduled between 7-7 each day. The Third Street and Fifth Street bridges are to be done today. Parry Bridge on Keil Drive and the Lacroix Street Bridge are slated to be washed on Wednesday.
The bridges spanning McGregor Creek, including on William Street between King and Colborne streets, on Princess Street between King Street and Colborne streets, and on Park Avenue East near Sass Road are all scheduled to be washed on Thursday.
No detours will be posted, so there will be flag persons directing traffic.
The Tuesday Movie @ Your Library is taking a break for the month of August.

The new titles will appear in the title for both apps in Apple’s App Store and Google Play. On your device’s home screen, the name for each will mercifully remain the same (for now).
