The Major League Baseball season has come to an end.

The playoffs begin tomorrow night with a one game playoff in Washington and Oakland.

The Detroit Tigers had the worst record in all of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays weren’t much better. They had the 5th worst record.


Saudi Arabia is opening the country to tourists for the first time ever.

As of September 27th, travelers from 49 different countries will be able to enter Saudi through an e-visa and visa-on-arrival.

They expect annual visitors to reach 100 million — twice the number of people who currently travel to Italy each year — boosting the local economy to the tune of billions of dollars.

While many new laws are being enforced to welcome visitors, like allowing women to drive and no longer wear a headscarf, there is still a ban on alcohol in the country.


There was a rare September snowstorm in Montana yesterday, with one area even getting 48 inches.

It snowed in Calgary over the weekend. Environment Canada said 15-25 centimetres of snowfall accumulation was expected to hit the area by Monday afternoon. Some areas of Alberta could see over 100cm by the end of today!

Parts of Saskatchewan and British Columbia are dealing with snow too.
