The Ontario Government announced yesterday that you can now provide electronic insurance cards that serve as proof of auto insurance on a mobile device at no extra cost.
Policyholders have the option of displaying their proof of insurance electronically, in addition to the paper “pink card.”
The paper “pink card” will not be eliminated. The promise was made in the 2019 budget. The government said it is working to modernize auto insurance in the province.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring their mobile device can properly display the proof of auto insurance, regardless of poor signal, drained batteries, or damaged screens.
Ontario keeping its promise to put drivers first. Ontarians now have the option of showing their proof of auto insurance electronically.

A team of scientists from New Zealand went to Scotland recently to study the sea life in Loch Ness to figure out if there really might be a monster in there.
And based on their conclusions, there’s no DNA evidence of dinosaurs, or any other mysterious or unknown creatures.
In fact, based on the sea life there, they’re pretty sure the Loch Ness monster is actually a big eel. “There’s no shark DNA . . . catfish DNA . . . [or] sturgeon either . . . [but] eels are very plentiful.”
#LochNessmonster might just be a giant #eel, say scientists https://t.co/m3M7YtqVKk
