Come by Sons of Kent for Rise House Winter Trivia Night tomorrow.

Trivia starts at 7. Cost is 20 dollars per person and all proceeds go to support Rise House.

The Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association is planning a second one-day walkout at all English Catholic school boards across Ontario next Tuesday, February 4th.

The Public elementary schools in the Lambton-Kent District School Board are scheduled to close this Thursday, January 30th, Tuesday, February 4th and Thursday, February 6th.

Also, this Friday, January 31st is a PA Day.


The seconds night of Municipal Budget deliberations is tonight at the Civic Centre at 6.

The Budget Committee is scheduled to meet again tomorrow and Tuesday and Wednesday next week if needed.

Anyone is welcome to attend, the meetings will be broadcast live on YourTV as well as live streamed on YourTV Chatham-Kent’s Facebook Live feed.

If you would like to present at a meeting, deputations up to five minutes long are allowed every night of deliberations. Sign up at the door prior to the meeting, or contact the Municipality beforehand.

   It’s Bell Let’s Talk Day.

Today Bell will donate towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet, social media video view and use of their Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.
