Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for southwestern Ontario, including Chatham-Kent, London and Middlesex County, Elgin County, Oxford County and Windsor-Essex.

A Texas Low is expected to sweep into the region on Wednesday, bringing snow and frigid air and total snowfall amounts of 10-15 centimetres are possible by Thursday morning. It should start as rain tomorrow, before turning to snow as temperatures drop.

Environment Canada said drivers should be prepared for poor driving conditions.

The Lotto Max jackpot tonight is at $70 million.

It’s just the third time the jackpot has ever reached that level. Back in January, a Brampton man won the $70 million prize, which was the biggest lottery prize in Canadian history.

An estimated 20 Maxmillion prizes, of $1 million each, will also be pulled.

Draw will take place tonight at 10:30. Players can check their tickets in stores or online.


Tik Tok announced a new feature yesterday that allows parents to manage their child’s screen time.

Teens and tweens won’t be able to access new videos once they reach the limit their parents set for them.

Other features have been added too; Direct Message Controls, which allows users to limit who they can send messages to, and a Restricted Mode, which allows users to restrict specific types of content from feeds.
