There are now eight total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent, including one that has recently been resolved.
Two more residents have tested positive, one male, aged 45 and one female, aged 43. They are isolating at their homes.

Ontario schools will remain closed to students until at least May 4th.
The Ministry of Education is planning to allow teachers back in schools on May 1st with students returning a few days later. If necessary the closure will be extended to protect the health of students and staff.
Students will receive report cards with grades at the end of the year. However, the government says no student will be at risk of failing because of the crisis.
Students across Ontario have been out of school since March 13th when it was announced schools would be closed for two weeks after March Break.
The City of Toronto is cancelling all major events and festivals through to June 30th to combat the spread of COVID-19.
That includes the annual Pride parade planned for June 28th. The ban does not prohibit professional sporting contests during the pandemic, the ban focuses on city events and event permits only.

Pillsbury’s first safe-to-eat chocolate chip cookie dough is in stores now, more recipes will be added over the next few months.
