The number of total COVID-19 cases reported in Chatham-Kent jumped to 75 by Monday night.
The big jump is because of 40 positive cases at Greenhill Produce in Kent Bridge. Chatham-Kent’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Colby believes the outbreak has been contained.
Three major London festivals are off the calendar thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Start.ca Rocks the Park, TD Sunfest and the Home County Music and Art Festival — have been postponed until July of next year.
Refunds are available for all days of the celebration, and requests must be submitted by May 31, 2020.
The Beer Store has adjusted its deposit return program.
Starting yesterday, about 200 stores will again accept empties. That’s about half of the Beer Store’s locations across the province. Prior to this announcement, only about 70 locations were taking empties after it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Customers are asked to rinse bottles before visiting a store and to practice social distancing.
Returns will be limited to one cart per person. Locations have also modified their hours to 11-6 Monday through Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday.
The Richmond St., location in Chatham will accept returns daily. The Blenheim, Tilbury, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg stores will take returns Mondays and Wednesdays only.
The Pentagon officially released a set of UFO videos leaked in 2017 and 2018, which the Navy verified were real late last year.
They still haven’t said what they think the UFOs were.
The videos show what appear to be unidentified flying objects rapidly moving while recorded by infrared cameras. Two of the videos contain service members reacting in awe at how quickly the objects are moving. One voice speculates that it could be a drone.
