The Beer Store has announced it will resume accepting empties at 71 of its 450 stores on Monday.
The recycling program was suspended last month in order to better protect its employees from the coronavirus outbreak. But now a bottle shortage at some breweries has prompted the Beer Store to reinstate the program.
Customers are also being limited to bringing back only one cart of empties per visit and are advised to drop off during off-peak times.
Store hours at the 71 outlets that will be accepting empties have been modified to 10-4 Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are unchanged.

NASA launched a free website this week called NASA at Home that has a TON of stuff to help keep your kids occupied.
If you click through, you’ll find lesson plans, videos, e-books, podcasts and STEM activities. That’s science, technology, engineering, and math.

They even have a program called Citizen Science where kids can help search for new planets and stars that haven’t been discovered yet.
Cards Against Humanity has announced a new Family Edition of its phrase-matching card game, and you can download and print the public beta of the game for free right now.
You can download two PDFs of the game: one 21-page PDF with small square cards and one 47-page PDF with larger rectangular cards. If you want to play, all you need to do is print out the PDF and cut out the cards.
Many of the regular Cards Against Humanity cards aren’t appropriate for most children, but the company says this version of the game is designed “for people ages 8 and up” and that the content is PG-rated, “‘crap’ and ‘boobies’ is about as bad as it gets.
Cards Against Humanity had plans to sell the game this fall, but wanted to let families who might be quarantined because of the coronavirus pandemic play it now so that they have something to do.
