The Canadian National Exhibition, known locally as the CNE and “The Ex”, has announced the cancellation of this year’s event amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The summer favourite has only ever been cancelled once before in its 142-year history. The first cancellation was a result of the Second World War.
The CNE is one of largest fairs in North America and sees more than 1.4 million visitors each year.
We’re very sad to announce that the CNE will not light up this summer. The CNE Association announced today, with the support of the Province of Ontario & City of Toronto, that the 2020 CNE will not be moving forward. Mitsubishi has developed a new app that allows users to summon elevators.
The app means people won’t have to touch germ-laden elevator buttons.
With the application, users who have passed their entrance security checkpoint have the ability to call an elevator remotely from anywhere in the building, using the app. The application displays your assigned elevator, its current status and alerts the passenger as the elevator car approaches to assist in touch-free, smooth boarding.
Our exclusive “touch free” elevator call system smartphone application makes it possible to call an #elevator, providing even more convenient access to elevators equipped with Destination Oriented Allocation System (DOAS®). Have you seen this hack for cereal boxes online.
Someone on TikTok showed that if you fold the flaps a certain way, it creates a more satisfying seal at the top.
First you tuck the two side tabs in. Then you fold in one of the bigger tabs. You have to push on the sides near the top of the box, so they fold in half and create a point at the top. Then you fold the last tab in, and that’s it.
People with OCD are loving it.
