Premier Doug Ford announced Monday afternoon that seven additional regions of Ontario will be permitted to enter the Stage 2 portion of reopening the province’s economy, but Windsor-Essex was not on the list.
Sarnia-Lambton is among those who will be allowed to reopen some businesses on Friday morning. The other health units are Durham Region, Haldimand-Norfolk, Halton Region, Hamilton, Niagara Region, and York Region.
Toronto and Peel join Windsor-Essex in remaining at Stage One for the time being.
7-Eleven has canceled 7-Eleven Day because of the coronavirus.
The convenience store usually gives away free Slurpees on July 11th. But since they cannot guarantee social distancing, that won’t happen this year.
If you are a 7-Eleven Rewards Member, you will receive one free medium Slurpee coupon in your account.
Ford is releasing a new Bronco next month.
The new Bronco will be released on July 9, the same day that will mark O.J. Simpson’s 73rd birthday.
O.J. is synonymous with the Ford SUV from the police on a chase from Orange County to Brentwood on June 17, 1994, in a white Bronco. Former teammate Al Cowlings was at the wheel during the slow-speed chase. It remains one of the most-watched news watched TV events of all time.
Ford says that the car’s release correlating with Simpson’s birthday is “purely coincidental”

Aliens are out there. Like really, really, really out there.
A group of scientists in England say their new calculations show there are at least 36 intelligent alien civilizations right here in the Milky Way galaxy.
But, we don’t have the technology to reach any of them, because they’re an average of 17,000 light years away, so we can’t communicate with them. Yet.
