A couple of stories that just seem to fit in 2020.

First, a 54-year-old guy just outside of Aspen, Colorado was attacked by a bear on Friday when the bear managed to open the door to the guy’s house, barge inside, and then swipe at the guy’s face and neck.

Wildlife officials caught and euthanized the bear, and they say there’s nothing this guy did that made the bear break into his house or attack him, the bear did all that on his own. The man will be alright.

And scientists in Australia have found a new species of shark that can get out of the water and walk on land.

A Super Mario Brothers game from 1985 sold for $114,000. It’s the highest price ever paid for a video game, passing the $100,150 someone paid last year for another copy of the same game.

The game cartridge was released in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System console.

This version of Super Mario Bros. was rare because the box comes with a cardboard hang tab underneath the plastic, an indication that it was produced after Nintendo started using shrink-wrap to seal the games rather than stickers.
