After big jumps last week, Ontario’s COVID-19 cases dropped back down again, with fewer than 150 new ones being reported on Sunday.
Over the weekend Ontario surpassed 2 million tests administered.
A majority of the new cases were in people under the age of 40, appearing to continue the trend of more young adults being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Blue Jays have found a home. They’ll play a majority of their home games this year in Buffalo, after being denied a request to play in Toronto and later Pittsburgh.
The Jays were supposed to host the Washington Nationals for two games Wednesday and Thursday, then host the Philadelphia Phillies on the weekend. Those five games will instead be played at the home stadiums of the Nationals and Phillies, respectively, with Toronto designated as the home team.
The Blue Jays will now play their first 16 games of the 60-game season away from Buffalo.

BiWay is returning to Toronto this fall with a concept store!
The discount shop closed all of its stores in 2001. The new location will be close to Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
Plans for the store indicate that it will include “better quality, better brands and [a] better layout.” The store’s stock will skew heavily toward parents, with an expansive offering of children’s books and brand name children’s wear.
The store will also offer ladies wear, mens wear, food, health, beauty and home goods products such as bedding, bath towels and sheets.
IKEA is launching their own clothing line called EFTERTRÄDA.
The line includes t-shirts, hoodies and bags with the IKEA logo and barcodes.
This collection will go on presale on July 31 on the Ikea Japan e-shop, no word if or when it will be available in Canada.
