The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit reported only 1 new COVID-19 case yesterday. The number of active cases dropped to 54 people from 66 reported on Monday. There has been 360 total confirmed cases of the virus in the municipality.
Ontario reported 125 cases, 28 of those coming from Windsor-Essex.
The Raptors play game 2 of their opening round series vs the Brooklyn Nets this afternoon at 1:30.
The game will be on TSN.
Raptors lead their NBA Playoffs opening round series 1 game to none.
The Ford Fireworks will happen this year, but as a television only display.
The fireworks will be set off somewhere in Detroit at a secret location.
The 2020 display will air on channel 4 (WDIV) on Monday, August 31st honouring frontline workers and heroes of the COVID-19 crisis.
Viewers usually line up on both the Windsor and Detroit sides of the Detroit River downtown to view the annual show at the end of June. Due to the pandemic, crowds will not be allowed to gather this year.
The theme of this year’s show is “We Are One Together.”

Four of your favourite characters are included with Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Jim Halpert, and Pam Beesly.

A chocolate factory in Olten, Switzerland had a malfunction in its ventilation system on Tuesday and shot a bunch of cocoa powder into the sky that rained down on to the city.
And this is high-quality, expensive, Swiss chocolate too.
The chocolate company has offered to pay for the clean-up.
Unfortunately, the ventilation system has now been repaired.
