The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit reported no new COVID-19 cases again yesterday. The number of active cases dropped to 39 from 40. There are no individuals hospitalized.

Ontario reported 76 new cases, although due to a glitch in the system some health units didn’t report.

Ragu is no more. In Canada at least.

The popular pasta sauce has stopped selling their products in Canada. After Canadians began to notice a lack of Ragu on the shelves, several took to Twitter to ask the company where the sauces were. The company replied to users with a statement revealing that the sauces would not be coming back.

The Canadian version of the brand’s website was still up, but unlike the American version of the website, it is impossible to click on the pasta sauces to learn more.


The London Majors will host an Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) exhibition game against the Guelph Royals on later today, meaning a 144 year old streak will continue.

The ballpark at the forks of the Thames, holds the Guinness Record for the World’s Oldest Baseball Field/Diamond. It has been the site of organized baseball since 1877 to the present day, thanks to tonight’s game.

Due to restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic, the game will not be open to the public, but up to 100 family members and staff will be in attendance.


Bud Light Seltzer is hiring a “Chief Meme Officer” and they’ll be paying someone $5,000-a-month for three months to create memes and share them on social media.

Anyone can apply for the job on Bud Light’s website, you just need to be over 21 and share some sample memes.

Applications are due by September 18th.
