In case you missed it, Friday afternoon the Ontario government announced that it is closing all strip clubs in the province and putting limits on the time in which bars and restaurants can serve alcohol.
Effective Saturday, all strip clubs across Ontario will be closed. Bars, restaurants, and nightclubs will not be allowed to serve alcohol after 11pm and alcohol will not be allowed to be consumed in these establishments between midnight and 9am.
On Sunday Ontario reported 491 cases across the province, that’s the largest daily increase of COVID19 cases in Ontario since early May.
387 of the positive cases are in Toronto, Ottawa, York and Peel. 63% of the new cases are in people under the age of 40.

Another popular holiday event has been cancelled: The Canadian Pacific (CP) Rail Holiday Train.
The Holiday Train was first launched in 1999 and has travelled across Canada and the Northern U.S. every year since.
The train has raised $17.8 million and collected 4.8 millions pounds of food. They will continue to donate to food banks in the communities that the train would usually stop in.
CP Rail says they plan to hold a virtual benefit concert in place of this year’s tour.
Chatham’s Bridget Carleton’s Summer in the bubble has come to an end.
The Minnesota Lynx were swept by the Seattle Storm and Carleton’s second WNBA season is now over.
Bridget will have a couple days off before heading to France to play professionally there over the Winter.
The Jays will play the Rays in the best of three American League Wild Card series beginning tomorrow night.
