Some local pro hockey players signed new contracts on the weekend.

TJ Brodie has left the Calgary Flames for the Toronto Maple Leafs, signing a 4 year deal for $20 million on Friday.

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has signed a 2 year contract with the Edmonton Oilers and Brandon Montour re-signed a 1 year deal with the Buffalo Sabres.


After being pushed back a few months, today is the first of two Amazon Prime Days.

Amazon shoppers are expected to spend $10 billion today and tomorrow on Amazon’s Prime Day sales.


It’s Tuesday Night Football with the Tennessee Titans playing the Buffalo Bills tonight. Both teams are undefeated.

It’s rare that the NFL would play on a Tuesday night, but it has happened before: In 2010, the Vikings and Eagles had to play Tuesday, due to too much Sunday snow in Philly. But prior to that, you’d have to go all the way back to 1946.
