The Armoury in Lights registration will open this morning.

The Armoury in Lights event will run from December 14-20 with shows at 5:30pm, 7:30pm and 9:30pm each night. Although it is free, pre-registration is required.

A big jump in local COVID19 cases from the weekend reported by the C-K Public Health Unit. 17 new cases were added, including the first confirmed case at Delaware Nation at Moraviantown.

Sixteen have recovered for a total of 30 active cases. One person is in the hospital.

Ontario is reporting 1,487 new coronavirus cases on Monday. The hot spots yesterday for new cases were Toronto, Peel and York.


There’s more huge news on the vaccine front.

Moderna announced its vaccine was almost 95% effective in clinical trials. So between their work and Pfizer’s, we now have what looks like two effective vaccines coming ASAP.

Monday’s announcement was based on interim data from its ongoing late-stage trial.


Lego is selling their largest set ever for the holidays.

The Coliseum has over 9,000 pieces. It resembles the Rome Colosseum and has 1,500 more pieces than the Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon.

Once built, the structure stands 27 centimetres (10 and a ½ inches high) and 50 centimetres (20 inches wide).

The Lego Colosseum will be out on Black Friday and will cost $719. Gulp

Cinnabon is selling pints of its frosting for $6 during the holidays.

You can only get them from their stores, or if you use delivery apps that bring Cinnabon to your house.
