The Chatham-Kent Municipal Budget Committee Deliberations began last night.
The night began with a proposed increase of 3.96% and currently sits at 3.83%.
Any decision made during deliberations is not considered final until the budget is passed.
The budget deliberation will continue tonight, with the third meeting scheduled for next Tuesday (February 3 and 4 have also been set aside if needed.)

Ontario reported the fewest positive COVID19 cases on Wednesday since late November; 1,670 new cases were confirmed yesterday.
Chatham-Kent Public Health reported 18 new COVID19 cases Wednesday.
Eight were resolved, leaving 103 cases active.

Scientists in Russia just thawed a woolly rhino that died between 25,000 and 40,000 years ago.
The 8-foot-long beast was a healthy adolescent of 3 or 4 years old.
The discovery was found in one of the coldest regions on earth.
