Apple started rolling out an update for the operating system for iPhones Monday.

One of the biggest changes is you’ll be able to use the Face ID to unlock your phone even while you’re wearing a mask, although you will need an Apple Watch to make this work.

Other new features include new privacy changes, which gives users more transparency and control over apps that want to track them for advertising. New Siri voices and emojis.

You can install iOS14.5 by going to Settings, then tapping General, then tapping Software Update.

A plague of biting creatures called clamworms has invaded the South Carolina coastline.

Scientists had to issue an advisory to beachgoers.

“These animals that ordinarily live on the seafloor undergo an incredible transformation under new and full moons in spring – their bodies morph into reproductive forms called ‘epitokes’ as they swarm in coastal waters.”

These orange critters, which look like a feather crossed with a centipede, swarm on the surface of the water. These marine invertebrates are known to clamp onto fingers with their hook-like jaws, which are strong enough to break the skin.

The classic Chia Pet  is back in business!

The terra cotta planter is sculpted to resemble a bust with hair that you plant and water.

Chia Pets is introducing a couple of new models; Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff and Sweatin’ to the Oldies mainstay Richard Simmons.

You can choose from “The Hoff,” who comes rocking his trademark smirk, leather jacket, and a collared shirt (unbuttoned, of course). The seeds spread on his head, so he’ll grow what looks like a green helmet over his luscious locks. You can order your Hoff Chia pet now, but it won’t ship until May.

The Richard Simmons version displays his mouth wide open and big goofy hairstyle, you also get to grow his chest hair. Grab this one from Amazon now.
