Ribfest returns to Chatham this Summer with, like most things these days, a twist.
Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario (ESWO) Chatham-Kent is organizing a Drive-thru Ribest that will take place over the second weekend of June at the Memorial Arena Parking lot in Chatham.
After making a donation at the entrance, drivers will proceed into the parking lot and purchase an order from the rib vendor of their choosing.
All of the money that is raised at the event through the donations will stay in Chatham-Kent and go towards supporting programs and services for local residents that have epilepsy.
You can expect to see some of your Ribfest favourites; Boss Hog’s, Silver Bullet Bar-B-Q, and Ribs Royale BBQ.
The Drive-Thru Ribfest will be held at the Memorial Arena Parking lot in Chatham on June 11th from noon-8pm, June 12th from 11am-8pm and June 13th from 11am-7pm. The event will only be open to people who are in a vehicle.
The 2021 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday.
Tom Brady will kick off the NFL season Thursday, September 9th, with the Dallas Cowboys at the Buccaneers.
The NFL will change its schedule for the first time in 44 years, expanding to 17 regular-season games. The final regular-season games will be played on January 9th, 2022. The playoffs will begin January 15th, and continue till the Super Bowl on February 13th in Los Angeles.
The Detroit Lions season will open September 12th vs San Francisco at home and wrap up January 9th vs. Green Bay. The traditional Thanksgiving game will be against the Bears on November 25th.
Another highlight on the NFL schedule, Tom Brady will visit the New England Patriots on October 3rd.
The cast of Tiger King is coming, whether you want it to or not!
The show promises to share the untold stories that weren’t covered in the documentary. Included in the event is a 60-70 minute moderated discussion that will include never-before-seen videos, photos, and no-holds-barred stories followed up by a question-and-answer segment with the audience.
Canadian stops on Tiger King’s Tour include Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener, and Vancouver.
There’s a Nicholas Cage television series and a Tiger King movie in production, so it looks like everyone’s favourite 2020 trend will be making a comeback later this year, assuming lockdown restrictions get lifted.
Tickets go on sale this morning at 10am.
