Ontario reported 318 new COVID19 cases on Sunday. It’s the sixth day in a row the number has remained below 400.

Chatham-Kent Public Health doesn’t update on the weekends. On Friday, there was 1 new case and 1 resolved. The active case count locally stays at 6. A weekend update will come between 10-11 this morning.

Amazon Prime Day is today and tomorrow.

But not in Canada. Amazon has decided to postpone Prime Day to focus on the safety of employees and customers.

Amazon is hoping to offer another date in the future for Canadians.


No winner in the Lotto Max draw on Friday, but there was a local MaxMillion winner.

The $70 million grand prize wasn’t won, but 33 of the possible 70 Maxmillions were won. A winning ticket was bought in Chatham-Kent.

$140 million will be up for grabs on Tuesday in the next Lotto Max draw. $70 million jackpot and 70 MaxMillions draws.


For the time being, Downtown Montreal features a giant Budweiser Goal Light in honour of the Montreal Canadiens winning the all-Canadian North Division.

The red light comes equipped with a goal-horn-sound that turns on every time a goal is scored by the Canadiens for the remainder of their playoff run.

Vegas won game 4 in overtime in Montreal, the series is tied at 2 games a piece.

Game 5 is tomorrow at 9pm.
