Chatham-Kent Public Health is hosting a mobile vaccination clinic in Dresden today from 10-4 at the Ken Houston Memorial Ag Centre.

Walk in appointments are available for anyone 12+ looking to get their first or second shots.


Two new positive COVID-19 case reported Monday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.

There were no recoveries, the total active case count is up to 9.

There were 325 positive cases across Ontario Monday. The test positivity rate is 2.3%, up from 1.3% one week ago.


The winning ticket for the Blue Jays 50/50 Return to Toronto jackpot has been announced.

The winner take home $1,960,430. It’s the largest jackpot in Ontario sports and Major League Baseball history.

The winning ticket number is 24139833.

The raffle was organized by the Jays Care Foundation celebrating the team’s return to Toronto after 22 months. Anyone 18 years of age and older in Ontario could purchase a ticket. Proceeds go to help communities in Ontario recover from the pandemic.

The Canadian sports record for the largest 50/50 jackpot, belongs to the Edmonton Oilers who gave away $7 million in August 2020.


Cineplex has announced plans to launch a monthly subscription program on Wednesday that offers perks and discounts at the multiplex.

CineClub will cost $9.99 per month and give members a free movie every month, along with cheaper “member-priced” tickets and a 20% discount on concession items.

Theatres around the world are looking for ways to get moviegoers back in front of the screen after being shuttered during the pandemic lockdowns. Big budget summer films haven’t been bringing in the numbers that they had hoped.
