Fourteen new positive COVID-19 cases reported Monday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 5 recoveries, the total active case count locally jumps to 27. The total is Chatham-Kent’s highest since May 21st.
There are 526 new cases of COVID-19. 353 cases are in unvaccinated individuals and 60 in partially vaccinated individuals.
It is the fifth straight day the province is reporting more than 500 cases. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is now up to 469, a level that has not been seen since the middle of June.
IHOP is coming to Southwestern Ontario.
IHOP will open restaurants in London and Windsor over the next 5 years.
Five restaurants total are expected to open across Ontario, the first IHOP’s outside of Niagara Falls. Belleville will open in February, followed by Hamilton, Waterloo, London and Windsor.
After a few days of trying out some new design changes Twitter is pulling the plug.
The company has received various complaints from users about how the new design choices—which include its new Chirp font, high contrast colors and buttons, fewer gray backgrounds, and less divider lines—have impacted them over the past couple of days. Users were complaining the new look was hurting their eyes and others said they had medical conditions and now couldn’t read Twitter without getting a headache.
Budweiser just partnered with the site Homesick.com for a new candle that’s supposed to smell like summer.
It’s called Budweiser Backyard Barbecue, and it’s got notes of amber, clove, lemonade, barbecue smoke, allspice, barley, vanilla and musk.
