Forbes announced Rihanna has officially hit BILLIONAIRE status. They estimated her fortune to be worth $1.7 billion, making her the second richest woman in the entertainment industry second only to Oprah.

This new feat also makes her the richest female musician although the bulk of her fortune is not from her music. It comes from her Fenty fashion house and her cosmetics company, Fenty Beauty, which have only been around since 2017.
