There were 16 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 20 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is at 107.
There are 463 new cases of COVID-19 across the province. 332 (72%) cases are in individuals not fully vaccinated.
There’s a Mobile vaccination clinic at Chatham-Kent Secondary (CKSS) 3-7 today and Wallaceburg District Secondary (WDSS) on Friday from 4-7.
On Saturday the Bradley Centre clinic will open from 9-3. All clinics using Pfizer. Bradley Clinic will also have Moderna.
Anyone 12 and older is welcome at the clinics.

As it stands right now, the Toronto Blue Jays are out of the playoffs.
The Jays lost in Tampa Wednesday afternoon to drop half a game out of the Wild Card playoffs. The Yankees and Red Sox are in front of them.
Toronto heads to Minnesota for the weekend before matching up with the Yankees next week, in what could decide the fate of both teams.
The regular season ends October 3rd.
McDonald’s has announced that they’re phasing out plastic toys in Happy Meals.
They’re not ditching the toys themselves, just the plastic, which they say will drastically cut by 2025.
That goal will reduce unrecycled virgin plastic use by 90%; that’s significant, because McDonald’s sells more than 1 billion toys each year. They’re also planning to recycle old plastic toys to make new restaurant trays.
McDonald’s is working with toy companies to develop things like three-dimensional cardboard superheroes, or board games with plant-based pieces.
The new toys will begin rolling out in January.
Wonderland’s Halloween Haunt is kicking off its season this coming weekend.
Starting tomorrow, ghouls, goblins, and hundreds of other terrifying monsters will roam through Canada’s Wonderland for the Haunt that’ll last until October 31.
Reservations are a must to enter the scream park.
Guests cannot come in costume, they also recommend not bringing children under 13 years old to the event.
