The Toronto Blue Jays are hoping to expand capacity at the Rogers Centre beyond the 15,000 fans currently allowed for the last six home games of the season and playoffs.
The team is working closely with the government and Ontario Medical Officer of health to try and make that happen. They have not confirmed exactly how many fans they are wanting to allow inside. Tickets are now available at BlueJays.com, and if permission to increase capacity is not granted, full refunds will be made available. The Jays will finish the season with 6 games at home beginning Tuesday, and had better start winning if they hope to make the playoffs.
Also, now all fans over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated to enter the Rogers Centre. Unvaccinated fans were previously allowed to enter the stadium if they could provide a negative COVID-19 test ahead of the game.
