There were 6 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 8 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is at 55.
There are 304 new cases of COVID-19 across the province. It is the fewest new daily cases the province has seen since August 5th, and the third straight day under 400 daily cases.
There’s a mobile vaccination clinic at Lambton-Kent Composite School today.
Open to staff, students and their family from 1:30-3:30 and to the public 3:30-7.

Facebook is considering a name change.
Sources claim Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will announce the name change at a conference next week. Facebook is in the midst of a brand crisis after documents leaked relating to the social media’s negative impact on the mental health of teenagers.
No one is sure if the Facebook platform will change names or an announcement of a new parent company.
Tinder just added a new feature to their app called “Plus One” that helps you find a date to one-off events, like weddings. Or if you don’t have a wedding to go to, you can sign up and put yourself out there as a potential wedding date.
They say it’s something people need right now, because the upcoming wedding season is supposed to be the busiest in 35 years. So get ready for first dates at weddings to be a big trend next year.
