Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are all back online after global outage that began just before noon on Monday.

The website Downdetector, which collates complaints about web outages, said there were more than 30,000 Canadians complaining about an outage. Instagram logged 21,000 reports of outages, while there were at least 14,000 reports about WhatsApp in Canada alone.

High school sports are back.

All spectators 12 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated to attend indoor sporting events. Bubba Wallace made history Monday, becoming just the second Black driver to win NASCAR‘s Cup Series race.

The last Black person to win the Cup Series was way back 1963 when NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Wendell Scott led the race to the checkers.

Wallace was born in Alabama. And last year at the same track, he found a noose in his garage stall, prompting an FBI hate-crime investigation.
