There were 12 new positive COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.

There were 23 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is at 104.

There are 476 new cases of COVID-19 across the province, 335 (70%) cases are in individuals not fully vaccinated. Second straight day with less than 500 new cases.


There’s a mobile vaccination clinics Tilbury District High School today.

Staff, student and their families can get vaccinated from 1:30-3:30, then open to the public 3:30-7.

Anyone 12 and older is welcome at the clinics.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Wednesday that anyone wanting to travel by air, rail, or sea in Canada must be fully vaccinated by the end of the month.

To verify proof of vaccination you can use paper copies or provincial vaccination passports.

Approximately 82% of eligible Canadians have received a double dose of Health Canada-approved vaccines.


Canada’s Walk of Fame has announced the class of 2021.

London’s Damian Warner, fresh off a decathalon gold medal, singer/writer Bruce Cockburn, singer/songwriter Jully Black, wrestler Bret “The Hitman” Hart and actor Keanu Reeves.

Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrates Canadian excellence and with Wednesday’s inductee and honouree announcement, will mark its 200th induction. The Awards Gala will take on December 4th and will be on CTV.


Wendy’s is turning its Frosty into a cereal.

The fast food chain is partnering with Kellogg‘s to make Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal, a limited-edition item that transforms the milkshake’s chocolatey taste into cereal form. It hits grocery store shelves in December for a suggested price of $3.99 and includes a coupon for a free Frosty from Wendy’s.

The Frosty was added to Wendy’s menus in the 1960’s and is still very popular.
