Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Glasshouse Nursery tonight from 5:30-7:30 for free professional photos. Donations will be accepted for the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

Santa will be in downtown Chatham Saturday from 1-5pm in front of the Downtown Chatham Centre. Say hi to St. Nick, get a picture and make a donation to the Chatham Goodfellows!


Seventeen new positive COVID-19 cases reported Thursday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.

There were 7 resolved cases, the total active case count locally rises to 52.

Ontario reported 711 new cases. It’s the most reported in the province since September 24th.

The Bradley Centre Vaccination Clinic will be open Saturday (9-4) for Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations.

The Ontario government is going to do away with paper renewal notices for license plate stickers and health cards.

The new format will also expand to the online renewal of digital parking permits and Ontario photo cards.

The government will save up to $29 million in postage and mailing costs over five years. Funds will be re-invested into critical programs, such as education.

The shift will also benefit the environment by saving approximately 80-million pieces of paper over five years.


Apple announced a new program this week called Self Service Repair.

They are going to allow consumers to fix their own iPhones beginning in early 2022.

Apple is going to make genuine parts, tools, displays, batteries and cameras available for iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 owners.


New York City will welcome thousands of people to Times Square for the New Year’s Eve ball drop this year.

Proof of vaccination will be required.

Children under five must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult and all individuals who are unable to be vaccinated must wear a mask.
