Bothwell will celebrate the season tonight with Hometown Holiday in the Square. Tree lighting in the town square with Santa and Mrs. Claus stopping by for a visit, kids activities, caroling and don’t forget to bring your letters to Santa. Events begin at 6:30.
The Ontario government announced Thursday it is expanding eligibility for COVID-19 booster shots.
Starting Monday, December 13th, at 8am, people 50 and over will be eligible to schedule their booster dose appointments. Third doses should be booked six months after a second dose.
Appointments can be booked at GetYourShotCK.ca.
In January, the government will expand eligibility for booster doses based on age and risk with an interval of six to eight months from the second dose.
The Bradley Centre Vaccination Clinic will be open this weekend for vaccination appointments for 5 to 11 year olds.
Vaccinations are by appointment only, go to GetYourShotCK.ca or by call 519-351-1010.
Today’s clinic is 1:30-7:30 and Saturday 9-4.
On Monday, the vaccination clinic will be hitting the road for 5 to 11 year olds at Blenheim District High School 3-8pm, by appointment only.
Over 90% of Ontarians 12+ have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Seventeen new positive COVID-19 cases reported yesterday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.
There were 5 resolved cases, the total active case count locally is now 100.
Ontario reported 950 new cases – the highest one-day total since Sunday.
Christmas Doesn’t Have to Stink This Year!
CKSY is hosting a drive thru drop off to support the Chatham Goodfellows No Child Without a Christmas campaign.
From 6-10am on Tuesday we’ll be collecting deodorant, soap, shampoo, body wash etc in our parking lot at 117 Keil Dr., Chatham.
