No new deaths to add to the total locally reported by Chatham-Kent Public Health on Monday. There have been 52 deaths in C-K from the virus, 25 alone since the beginning of the year.
There are 12 patients hospitalized for COVID.
Beginning this week, the health unit will provide updates to Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Ontario reported 2,155 people hospitalized due to the virus, that’s the lowest its been in more than a month.

Canada has captured its first ski jumping medal in Olympic history, taking bronze in the mixed team event. Canada’s previous best result in Olympic ski jumping was seventh-place finish in Calgary in 1988.
Canada scored four medals on the day, overall 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze for 11th overall.
Queen Elizabeth has begun her platinum jubilee year, marking a 70-year reign on Sunday.

Canada Post has unveiled a new stamp to commemorate the platinum jubilee. The Queen has been featured on more than 70 Canadian stamps that have been issued for royal visits, historical events and her previous silver, golden and diamond jubilees.
