Spring officially arrived on Sunday.
For the next three months here in the Northern Hemisphere the days will grow longer, that will lead us to June’s Summer Solstice of June 21, the longest day of the year.
Sunday was one of two days out of the year β the other being the day of the autumnal equinox in September β when the Earth’s axis is tilted neither toward nor away from the sun, resulting in roughly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness almost everywhere on Earth.
Spring officially arrived at 11:33am yesterday.
