Chatham-Kent Public Health are offering catch up school vaccination clinics for grade 7, 8 and 9’s until next Thursday.

These clinics are for school-age children on regular vaccinations they may have missed out on during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The last three clinics are:

  • April 14 2:30-7:30
  • April 19 2:30-7:30
  • April 21 2:30-7:30

These are the last catch up clinics to be offered at the Chatham-Kent Vaccination Centre at 730 Richmond St., Chatham.


After two years of COVID precautions Maple Leaf and Raptor fans will get the chance to tailgate at the arena in downtown Toronto once again.

Scotiabank Arena has announced that playoff tailgating is returning to Maple Leaf Square. Fans can watch the game on the big screen and cheer for their team along with thousands of other fans.

Fans must now register for a free mobile pass to attend. One fan can register for a maximum of four passes per game. Passes for the Raptors Round 1 Game 1 Tailgate are now available, with passes for future games becoming available 48 hours before each confirmed game day.

Both the Raptors and Maple Leafs will host tailgate parties for home and away games.

Elections Ontario launched a new app.

The app allows people to search their riding for candidate information, advanced voting days, and poll locations.

The app was launched on April 1st, but most of the features will not be available until after May 4th. The current Ontario government will be dissolve on May 4th and the official election period begins.

In this election, there will be ten advanced voting days between May 19th and 28th.

Ontario gas prices are set to drop today.

Gas prices are expected to drop by 5 cents per litre across most of Ontario. The average in the province is expected to be about 169.9 cents per litre.

Cornwall and Peterborough should be the cheapest spots to get gas at 160.9 cents per litre. Thunder Bay will remain the most expensive area to fill up, with prices at 192.9 cents per litre.

In Chatham-Kent this morning prices are at an average of 168.8 cents per litre, Wallaceburg was around 164.9 cents per litre.
