The Toronto Raptors are home tonight for game 6 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers lead the best of 7 series, 3 games to 2. Philadelphia had a 3-0 lead.

More census data from Statistics Canada was released on Wednesday showing Canada’s population keeps growing older and is expected to age more rapidly in the years to come.

Seniors over the age of 85 make up one of the country’s fastest growing demographics. The population of that age group is expected to triple over the next 25 years. The number of people over 85 has more than doubled since the 2001 census.

“Older Canadians are a growing economic and politically influential group,” says Statistics Canada. “They are staying healthier, active, and involved for longer.”

The deadline to file your taxes is this weekend, although there is some wiggle room on the deadline.

The technical deadline to get your taxes in is April 30th, there’s actually a bit of leeway this year because that date falls on a weekend.

Matter of fact, your taxes will still be considered on-time if Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) receives them on or before Monday, May 2nd.

The same rule applies if your taxes have been postmarked on or before May 2nd.
