There is a public information session to discuss the emergency homeless shelter tonight from 6-7:30pm in Studio One at the Chatham Cultural Centre hosted by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

The discussion session will be moderated and feature a number of municipal panelists.


The Chatham-Kent Vaccination clinic remains open for all eligible residents who are looking to receive their first, second, or booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The clinic is open today 1:30-7:30 at its new location at 730 Richmond Street (Former YA Canada Building)

Gas prices will rise 2 cents per litre today for most of Ontario.

The average cost per litre will be 170.9 cents for most of the province.

Peterborough will be the cheapest at 166.9 cents per litre, while Windsor is also one of the cheaper cities at 169.9 cents per litre. At the other end, Thunder Bay and Sudbury, which will see prices of 192.9 and 184.9.

In Chatham-Kent this morning the average is at 173.5 cents per litre.


Flair Airlines announced Tuesday two more routes out of Windsor Airport.

Flair will be adding direct routes to Montreal and Halifax, beginning in July.

The the cost for the direct flights to Montreal will start at $29 each way, with flights to be scheduled Thursdays and Sundays.

The flights to Halifax will operate on Mondays and Fridays, with the cost to fly to Halifax starting at $29 and the return flight to Windsor starting at $49.

Last week Flair announced it would be coming to Windsor Airport, operating a direct flight from Windsor to Tucson, Arizona beginning December 1st.

Flights prices to Tucson will start at $99 each way.


It’s pick up day for Roses for Rotary.
