Long requested, Twitter has finally confirmed that they’re working on addding an edit button.
Billionaire Elon Musk, who is now Twitter’s largest shareholder and newly appointed board member, launched a Twitter poll on Monday asking users if they wanted an edit button. More than 4 million people had voted in the first 24 hours.
Twitter themselves joked with an April Fool’s Day tweet saying “we are working on an edit button.” They revealed this week that they’ve been working on it since last year.
Twitter will test the feature in its paid service, Twitter Blue, in the coming months.
now that everyone is asking…
yes, we’ve been working on an edit feature since last year!
no, we didn’t get the idea from a poll 😉
we’re kicking off testing within @TwitterBlue Labs in the coming months to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible.

The Masters golf tournament begins today.
One of the four major PGA tournaments, and the only one played on the same golf course every year. This is the 86 annual tournament. The winner receives over $2 million dollars and the coveted green jacket. Hideki Matsuyama is the defending champ.
Tiger Woods is the most surprising entry in the 2022 Masters tournament. In February of 2021, he was in a car accident in which he badly injured his leg, nearly losing it completely. At that time, he had said he would never play golf full time again.
You can watch the entire tournament on TSN or the final two rounds on CBS.
After a nearly 100-day lockout that delayed Spring Training and the start of the regular season, today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball.
The first pitch in the season-opening game is this afternoon at 1:05 in New York between the Yankees and the Red Sox.
The Jays and Tigers seasons begin Friday.
