Chatham-Kent Public Health is offering one last mass vaccination clinic today.

The health unit is closing the Richmond Street location. Today’s final clinic is being held 1–4pm.

Going forward, residents are being encouraged to book their COVID-19 vaccine through their local pharmacy.


The Chatham branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library hosts Movies @ Your Library every Tuesday.

Book your spot today to see The Spectacular Now. Movies start at 2pm.

Space for this program is limited and registration is required.


No Lotto Max winner on Friday, so the jackpot grows for Tuesday’s draw.

The Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix returns to the Motor City this weekend.

The Grand Prix is held on Belle Isle this weekend (June 3-5)

The heat and humidity cover the region again today.

Environment Canada‘s Heat Warning continues for Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex and most of Southwestern Ontario.

Heat warnings are issued when the daytime temperatures are expected to reach 31 degrees or greater and the nighttime temperatures are expected to reach 21 degrees for a minimum of two days.

Cooler air is expected to move in on Wednesday with a chance of showers.

Above average summer temperatures are anticipated for June, July and August.
