Week 4 of the CKRecreation Summerfest kicks off tonight!
Tonight the Party in the Park is at Wallaceburg District Secondary School 5-8pm. Stop by for lots of fun activities, crafts and Play Rangers absolutely free for the who family.
The Movie in the Park will roll into Wheatley Area Park on Friday. Come by to see Sing 2. Movie starts at dusk.
Ever Saturday and Sunday are Beach Days in Erieau & Mitchell’s Bay 11-4pm and Play Rangers in Kingston Park.

This Saturday in Erieau, Art on the Boulevard kicks off at 9am -4pm. This free event brings artists from across Ontario to share and sell their work.
Live music from 11am-3pm. More information on their website.
The Dresden Fair starts tomorrow at the Dresden Raceway Grandstands.
Friday at 7pm kick it off with the Truck and Tractor pull. Costs $20, kids 10 and under are free.
Saturday July 30th, 9am Exhibit buildings open, soap box derby, local vendors, cattle show starting at 10am, Teddy Bear show after lunch at 1pm and at 6pm live music from Southwind Buoys, Guns N Roses Tribute Band and Cheap Trick Tribute Band. $15 for the live music at the door, kids 10 and under are free.

Ridegtown’s weekly farmers market continues this Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at 180 Main Street E.. Fresh fruits and vegetables, a variety of baked goods and locally grown and made items all available.
A 170 carat pink diamond has been discovered in Angola, South Africa. The Lulo Rose was found in a diamond mine and is the largest gemstone found in 300 years. Discovered in the Lulo alluvial diamond mine, it has been named the Lulo Rose by the mine owner, Lucapa Diamond Company. The diamond is going to be auctioned off.
Considered one of the rarest colour diamonds in the world, pink diamonds (as with blue diamonds) typically are just small stones.
