Advanced voting opens today for the upcoming Municipal Election and will remain open until Saturday.

- Wallaceburg First Baptist Church (99 Thomas Avenue, Wallaceburg)

Ballots from all Wards will be available at each of the locations.

Tampon Tuesday is back!
The United Way of Chatham-Kent and Women United are hosting a drive thru drop off to collect menstrual products from 9-3 at the Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Centre at 425 McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
Feminine hygiene products are some of the most requested, but under-donated, items at food banks and outreach programs throughout the community.
The donations will be divided up and given to organizations and programs throughout Chatham-Kent.
King Charles III will be crowned at Westminster Abbey on May 6th.
Charles will be crowned in a solemn religious ceremony. Camilla, the queen consort, will be crowned alongside her husband.
The ceremony traditionally takes place some months after the monarch’s accession to the throne, providing time to mourn his predecessor and organize the event.
The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort.

There were a bunch big winners in Ontario for Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, including six Maxmillion winners, but the jackpot again stayed unclaimed.
The Lotto Max jackpot has never gone unclaimed this long. There have been 18 draws since it was last won, the previous record was 16 draws in a row.
Friday’s draw will be the second-largest in the game’s history, with $130 million in top prizing available: a $70 million jackpot and 60 $1 million Maxmillion prizes.
Tickets are available online or in store until 10:30pm on draw nights.
