Ontario gas prices are expected to drop 3 cents today to 160.9 cents per litre.
Peterborough is the cheapest spot in the province at 155.9 cents per litre. The priciest is in Thunder Bay at 182.9 cents per litre.
Locally it’s at 158 cents per litre in Chatham, 159 in Wallaceburg, 162 in Blenheim and 155 in Tilbury.
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced that, for the first time ever, it would be canceling the upcoming Bering Sea snow crab season, due to a drastic decline in the crab population.
The actual numbers behind that decision are shocking: The snow crab population shrank from around 8 billion in 2018 to 1 billion in 2021
Sixty fishing boats from Alaska, Oregon, and Washington harvested crab from the Bering Sea every year and fishermen rely on the income generated by the annual snow crab harvests.
An artist in Detroit is planning a Halloween photo shoot at the end of the month.
The artist, named Malissa, is painting people’s butts to resemble Halloween pumpkins. She charges $25 per booty. Each cheek is painted orange and has a black eye. A scary black mouth is then painted across both cheeks. Some people are having their backs painted with black cats.
Interested butts can email Malissa to get info, it’s only going to cost $25 for the butt-o-lantern painting.
